The exhibition of sculptures made of stone, bronze and marble

6 April – 1 May 2011, at the metropolitan Museum of Hetmanship, artist-brothers from Kyiv, Yehor and Nikita Zihur are presenting their sculpture exhibition called “Dvovymir” (“Of two dimensions”).

In their works the artists skillfully combine the tradition of national art and innovative ideas. The characteristic feature of the artists’ handwriting is soft rounded reliefs, shapes, plastic bending of bodies, the physicality. But along with this, watching the works made of various materials, we see that Yehor and Nikita are able to be different, because they are experimenting in new plastic forms, looking for their own imaginative course and adequate language of their style.
