Volodymyr Shvets

Volodymyr is a master of wood carving from Cherkasy region. He works in the area of the traditional carving and spoon making and he is a skillful master of wood modeling. The artist is a virtuoso in different techniques of artistic carving; he creates Ukrainian souvenirs.

Creative work

The carver works mostly in the area of spoon making. He makes spoons, ladles, mykhalyks, dippers, koryakas, large and small boats – “Laddyas”, mortars and plates; sugar bowls, bread baskets, children’s toys.
