This master of embroidery has created a real cult of such simple everyday things as bookmarks (to make reading more entertaining) and cases for cell phones (to communicate with more pleasure).

This master belongs to the people who restore the importance of the bookmarks that actually have been embroidered from the old times when books used to be precious things: at the times long bookmarks had decorations of gold embroidery. The artist has included elements of national embroidery patterns to the everyday household ware such as cases for cell phones.

Tetyana Serebrinnikova also takes great interest in the embroidery of rushnyks (national towels) and shirts but does this not for exhibitions but for her family only, because in her opinion rushnyks are made to be used and shirts – to be worn, those are their direct purposes. It is physically impossible to make a lot of such things.
