Dolls–motankas created by this master can now be found in eight countries of the world. Two of them are in Africa: in Ethiopia and South African Republic. The artist does not keep a large collection of motankas (toys wound from cloth – images of young, middle aged and old women) at home. She makes them either to orders or as presents.
After several experiments with authentic singing the master tried to create a motanka and it fell to her liking. In the process of creating dolls the master is attracted by a possibility of combining original Ukrainian tradition and friendly attitude to the environment, because the author uses materials usually thrown away as waste: pieces of fabrics, old clothes and threads. A doll wound using simple ancient technique is completed by clothes in traditional colors, with elements of national patterns, embroidery and ornaments of certain Ukrainian regions.
