Iryna Pasternak

Curious and restless master from Kyiv region tries her skills in different areas and styles of arts and crafts. Besides decorative embroidery she has mastered the technique of decorative painting, pysanka ornamenting, modeling from ceramic mass and dough. At present she takes great interest in decorative enamels.

Creative work

Iryna ornaments wooden and ceramic eggs which are called malyovankas. She also makes original pysankas on hen’s eggs using national patterns. Besides, she ornaments wooden plates; models decorative dough inlays and different ceramic compositions. She is attracted to decorative enamels very much.

Iryna chooses those themes that tune people to positive. For example, Trypillya theme fills souls with light and sunny energy. Vegetative ornaments are painted bright and merry. The master uses elements of folk decorative painting.
