Vadym Obertas

A tanner, a tailor, a carver, an artist-decorator, a farmer, a remarkable connoisseur of horse-breeding, Ukrainian history and, finally, he is an actor whom you’ve seen many times on TV and cinema screens. All this is said about a Poltava artist Vadym Obertas who was born to become a Cossack.

Creative work

The master manufactures men’s military fitting out, horse harness, men’s footwear and arms.
As for saddles of different kinds – Kuban, European, Eastern – the master gouges from whole tree trunks, sews them from leather, decorates by traditional and original ornaments. Also, he makes accessories for pipes (tobacco pouches, bags), bridles, and men’s Cossack boots.
