A young Kyiv artist creates traditional motanka-dolls with enthusiasm. She made her first doll for her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter — for her child to play with an entirely Ukrainian useful and safe toy.
The master makes traditional motanka-dolls from natural materials: straw, flax, silk, cotton, wool, beads. She starts her creative works exclusively when in good mood and puts a part of her soul in each work for it to be not only a nice thing but to contain kindness, love and joy and serve as a protective talisman.
Beside motankas, Olena is occupied in wool felting and painting of small pictures. She also makes postcards.
